Getting help to quit is the best way to help ensure success, and there’s no shame in asking for help. Service

If you would like support to stop smoking, you can access local pharmacists, GP practice nurses and health advocates who are all trained advisors. For more intensive support, group sessions are also available.

Based at the Homerton Hospital, a specialist midwife advisor supports pregnant mothers who wish to quit smoking.

Ethnic Services

Turkish / Kurdish Project - based at Halkevi Community Centre, Stoke Newington Road, this culturally specific project focuses on supporting Hackney's Turkish / Kurdish population to quit smoking. Advisors speak Turkish, Kurdish and English
